During a visit at St Paul’s Bay Primary School, the Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment Tonio Fenech presented a EUR 30,000 contribution to the Helen O’ Grady Academy Malta (HOGM) from the National Lotteries’ Good Causes Fund.
The Academy provides development training through drama to children aged between 7 and 10 years. These children are benefiting from this opportunity whilst attending for this dynamic therapeutic drama programme with the specific aim of enhancing core basic skills.
The Minister expressed his satisfaction at being able to support, through the Fund, an organisation which was doing such a remarkable job in using drama to support the development of children and thanked all those who were committing their time towards this project.
