Lauryn Sam Cauchi, a student from Year 6, placed third in a national poetry contest. This contest was organised by the Maltese Poets Association. There were more than 100 entries for this contest and our school managed to get the third place with ‘St. Paul’s Poem’, written by Lauryn Sam Cauchi, the sixth place with the poem ‘Comfort’, written by Erika Harvey, and the tenth place with the poem ‘A Puppett Called’ by Kirsty Borg. This was a very good result for our school since three of the top ten entries are our students. Certificates to winners and participants were presented during the assembly by our Head of School Ms. Deguara.
