More than 100 children from our school forming part of the group ‘The Mesmerisers’ led by Mr. Mark Azzopardi, participated at the opening of the SportMalta Awards.
This was organised by Kunsill Malti ghall-Isport at the Cottonera Sports Complex. The Mesmerisers performed various songs and entertained over 2,800 students that were present for this opening. The Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport, Clyde Puli, was also present together with the nominated athletes.
The activity also included a spectacular BMX show, modern dance from the Dancel Dance Company, hip-hop dance from the Southville Dancers as well as a technical display of basketball skills from male and female foreign professional basketball players currently playing in the top local leagues.
